T3i is better at lower ISO levels than Nikon D5100?
And D5100 is better at higher ISO level than T3i. I'm comparing many photos on Flickr from the T3i & D5100 and it seems that the D5100 seems to yield softer photos compared to T3i. I'm confused because many reviews say that the D5100 has a slightly better edge over the T3i in terms of image quality but I find this to be the opposite after comparing hundreds of different photos on Flickr from different photographers using different lenses.
Added (1). When I click to see the photo at a larger scale, the T3i photos seem to be sharper.
50mm 1.8g lens portrait advice?
So I recently just bought a 50mm 1.8g lens for my nikon d90. I tested it outside during the day and took photos of my friend but I couldn't seem to get any bokeh (blur background). I was shooting with aperature. Does anyone know what settings I should use for outside portraits? I'm a beginner and need all the advice/tips as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not going to fluff you here. I'm going to get right to the point. Yes, this camera is worth every penny you pay. The photo quality is magnificent. The controls are well laid out. I believe it's a good entry level dSLR.

Nikon D3100 lens no longer Auto-Focus'?
I got my camera in October 2011, i haven't used it since December as i had my charger stolen. I finally got a new charger and now my lens (the one i got with it) doesn't auto focus, i have to do it manually. I have reset all settings my camera and it hasn't changed anything. It hasn't been dropped or mishandled so i don't know of any reason it should be broken?
What is a reasonable price for an used Nikon D5100?

Apparently they used it for a month, and have decided that it's too advanced for them.
I would like to give them a nice price, but also don't want to shoot for more than they want.
I also live across the country from them, so i would have to add the shipping cost to it.
