Best medium leveled Nikon DSLR camera for me?
I have the nikon d3100 and i love it, but now i feel the need to upgrade since i've controlled all the uses for it and I understand camera concepts, photography concepts etc etc. Its been 2-3 years with my nikon d3100, and now i want to upgrade!
any suggestions?

Nikon 55-200 lens good for a d3100? And olso does it have auto focus?

What RAW settings should your camera be in?
I personally like shooting raw, but my Nikon D5100 Has different types of raw Like, NEF (RAW), NEF (RAW) + JPEG basic, NEF (RAW) + JPEG normal and NEF (RAW) + JPEG fine. What setting should i put my camera settings in. I Do lots of portraits.
I've had my Nikon d3100 for a little over a month now. I had a d40 years ago and was getting really good at manually shooting when it was stolen. Getting back into the groove of things has been hard and I keep finding myself displease with the images I've taken. Tonight i'm shooting a show inside a bar, probably dimly lit. I hate setting my camera on auto and letting it decide. Does anyone have any tips? What mode should I be using? Shutter speed/f-stop/iso would be best? All help appreciated.

I'm looking to buy a new Nikon camera, a D3100, with the extra 55-200 mm zoom VR lens. I want to save money, so I have one simple question… Should I buy refurbished? Or should I stay away from that and get a completely new camera? What is the difference between refurbished and new?
Why does my camera only record 10 minutes at a time?
I have a Nikon D3100 DSLR. When you put it in the video mode to record it only allows me to record 10 minutes of video at a time, I'm wondering if this is due to the memory card I have in it, or perhaps I have it on a setting making it do this? How/is there a fix for this? I would like to record more than 10 minutes at a time.
Same Lens on Two Different Cameras? Do The Pictures Look the Same?
I have a Nikon D70 and I really want a 50mm lens but I've seen shots taken with it on different cameras… Would they look the same because it's the same lens, or no because they are two different cameras?

I've been wanting to buy a nikon dslr camera for a while but i was waiting until a new one came out. I'm a pretty new photgrapher so i don't know much. The 3 choices i was thinking of was the d3100 d5100 or the new one which is the d3200. The best of the 3 i think is the d3200 or the d1500. WHICH ONE SHOULD I CHOSE!
