I'm in search for a D90 camera but few people suggest that it has been discontinued all over the world! Where all it has been discontinued? Please let me know.

D90 has been upgraded to D7000. But those who can't afford D7000, buy D90.It is still on Nikon's website. So must have not been discontinued.

Nikon had already announced its D90's discontinuance early last year. However that does not mean that D90 won't be supported for service and parts, it will, eventually, become harder to find parts in a couple of years, and the new ones will be lower in price and when the stock is finally sold out then that is it. And yes it is world wide.

A new model has a life of about 3-4 years after which a new model will supersede it. Weigh your purchase value versus your headache later on. Hope this helps.
