Great lens for landscape and night photography?

I Use the Nikon D5100, I Have the 35mm. Is there any good lens recommended for landscape or night photography. Please anything help!

Get a fast wide angle lens. A Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 is good in dark light due to its aperture, and the wide angle is good for landscapes. It is $570.

When buying the lens the 35mm is not the most important.
How "clear" the lens is this is what is important.
There should be next number F the smaller the number the better.

28mm can be great for landscape photography.

I use 80mm and 35mm but I use it on a medium format camera that is equivalent to about 28mm and 50mm on a Nikon or cannon.
