How can I record videos with Nikon D3100 while the preview being displayed on my Mac? I've search a lot for this and couldn't find an answer, any help would be appreciated, thank you.

If you look here, you will see that your camera is NOT listed as a compatible camera for use with Nikon's Camera Control 2 software.

Actually why would you want to do that? Shooting video with a dSLR is tough enough without introducing a long data cord and a computer.
