I'm using Nikon D90 with 18-105 mm lens and i'm looking for a cheap zoom lens. I want to know the pros and cons of Nikon AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6G (4.3x) Lens with respect to my camera. Please help and if someone can share sample pictures taken from this lens please do share that also.

Ya its truly a good camera at a cheap price but you must keep in mind that it is good in context to its price so you must not compare it with any other middle or high range camera.overall keeping in mind the price its a thumbs up.

The only 70-300 mm Nikkor lens I can recommend is the AF-S 70-300 mm VR, but is isn't really inexpensive (cheap denotes poor quality) at $590.It is a great lens however.

Skip the inexpensive AF 70-300 mm at less than $180.It is something I would skip.

You have an amazing camera, why would you want a cheap lens? Just save your pennies and get quality

That is not the best lens Nikon made.

Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED IF AF-S VR is a good lens to go with
Pros:
Pleasing Bokeh
Fast Auto-Focus (when working properly)
Vignetting is minimal
Image Stabilization (VR)
Flare is minimal
1.5x factor (105-450mm) makes for nice zoom
Colors are very good

CONS:
Plastic Casing
Near Inability to Auto-Focus at 300mm range

You actually have good camera body and i think investing in cheap lens will give you bad effects
I personally suggest to get something VR lens it will give you better experience and better photos!
