Is nikon d5100 good for wild life?

*do not answer with a link promoting your own site or i will ignore it*
there's a canon t3i dslr + 18-55mm lens for $600 (the same one on another site is $750 and a nikon d5100 with the same kit lens is $650)
http://1saleaday.com/wireless/
i'm tempted to buy it but i've read mixed reviews about 1 sale a day. (i don't doubt that the company hires people to say good things about 1 sale a day to promote their business.)
it sounds like a good deal but i'm a bit wary.
i know it is better to be safe than sorry.
so,
please be honest to yourself and give me a sincere answer

Semi-pro full HD video camera (or camcorder) around US$500?
I'm starting to develop an interest in making music videos and short "featurettes" and would like to buy a nice enough camera for that purpose. I've researched a little about 3-chip cameras, 3mos, shallow depth of field etc, so I'm considering something like a Nikon D3200.
I'm hoping a more knowledgeable person will show me other options.
Thanks in advance!
Added (1). Thanks guys for the input, so you'd recommend buying a $300 camcorder instead of a $600 dSLR?
The Vixia looks great, but I saw some great videos shot with dSLRs in cameralabs.com. I definitely won't be buying a 6000-dollar camera anytime soon (not even a US$1000 for that matter, I'm a musician looking for a hobby).

EF 70-200mm f/4L USM Nikon Adapter?

What is the difference between Canon T1i and Nikon d3100
I want to buy a dslr and I'm new to photography so I know nothing.
I went to best buy and they had a brand new D3100 for $ 549.00. After talking to the sales guy, he showed me a hidden open item (used) T1i. He said it was old and it was returned a long time ago but that it worked perfectly. I looked at it and it looked brand new! No scratches! And for $349.00 but he said the manager would drop the price cause he doesn't like holding open items. Anyway, which one should I get? I want the d3100 but it's so expensive! But the canon was nice too.
My pictures- I plan to take pictures of…
Building models (i'm an architecture student)

Camera Settings - Sunny Day - Nikon D3000?
I'm taking fashion photos outside, and need professional looking photos. I will be taking them at about 4:00 PM in a beach area, and also partially in a shaded area. I'm using 18-55 lens.
Please tell me what is the best setting on my Nikon D3000, to get the best looking photos. I'm not unable to hire a professional now, but feel I have a good camera that should yield great magazine-look photos.
Please advise on ISO, WB, and all other manual settings.

Nikon 18-70mm and Tokina 11-16mm aperture blades visible even wide open?
I own both lenses, both Nikon F mount obviously. Basically, when mounted onto my D80, all lens' apertures are wide open to allow for a bright and clear viewfinder image, only stopping down to the user's selected f-stop at the moment of exposure.
However, I've noticed that even wide open, both my Nikon 18-70mm f3.5-4.5G and Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 lens aperture blades are clearly visible, forming a polygon shape. In essence, the aperture appears to be partly closed even when it's supposed to be completely wide open.
I've dismounted the lenses and played around with the aperture pin on them, and when pushed to the very end the aperture still appears to be partly closed instead of completely open as it's supposed to. This shows that it's not the camera aperture lever's problems.
The camera still displays the proper fstop (f2.8 for the 11-16 and f4.5 at 70mm for the 18-70) numbers, the aperture blades don't stick or have oil on them, and the images appear to be properly exposed instead of underexposed.
Is this normal? Can owners of the same lenses tell me if they also notice the same thing?

Photo Shoot.: Help:. Equipment?
Okay, i asked a similar question before but here i go. I'm only 15 years old, and i have an upcoming photo shoot for a quinceanera party for my cousins friend. Keep in mind that i'm only 15.I've got a Nikon D3000, and thats really all i have.
What equipment should i have/get?
Would it be unprofessional for me to show up with just my camera?
