Is nikon d5100 good for wild life?
Is nikon d5100 good for wild life?
Any DSLR does it with ease, only that a full frame DSLR does it better
wildlife, portraits, macros etc are functions of the lens not the camera body
you need a telephoto zoom lens if you wish to capture long range subjects
Depends on the lens you have. The D5100 can be used for just about anything.
It's ok, but clearly you will need a tele zoom lens, as you would for any DSLR.
Probably not. Give one even to the most intelligent chimpanzee or orangutan and it wouldn't last five minutes.
Serious answer. It's just a camera body; a tool for a purpose. It's how you use it and what you use it with which decides how good it is for taking wildlife photos. If you want to take close ups of ants you'll need a tripod, ring-flash, macro lens and similarly suited accessories. If you want to take shots of distant birds you'll need a different type of tripod, super-telephoto lens and appropriate lens-hood.
Any DSLR can be used for wildlife photography. BUT, you'll need a long lens, such as the 70-300VR.
