Does the Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.4 D autofocus on a Nikon D7000 body?
Does the Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.4 D autofocus on a Nikon D7000 body?
Yes, you should be fine. The lens will not autofocus on the cheaper entry level cameras like the D3200 and D5000
All Nikkor AF, AF-I and AF-S lenses auto-focus on the D7000.
If you don't mind manual focusing lenses, then any of the Nikkor AI manual lenses will work too.
You have spent sufficient $$$ on your camera for the wise ones at Nikon to endow you with universal autofocus. Only the lowly peasants who buy entry level bodies have to use manual focus for they are unworthy in the eyes of the wise ones
That's a joke by the way!
Yes - it will autofocus.
