Can i use a 50mm 1.8d on my nikon d3100?

I want to get a 50mm and the 1.8d version is cheaper, but i've heard you can't autofocus with it. How do i deal with this problem? And is autofocus that big of a deal? I've even heard that the 1.8d isn't compatible with a d3100.

Any 'wireless USB cable'?

I've got a Nikon D7000 and Nikon Camera Control Pro 2 app for it. What I use Camera Control Pro 2 for is simply I use it as a second viewfinder, to see what camera sees on a bigger screen. But to do that the camera needs to be connected to the computer with a USB cable. What I'm asking, is there any cordless, wireless USB 'cable'?

How to create dreamy looking photographs?

Hey I'm an amateur /begginer/ photographer and I've been looking through a lot of photographs to decide which style suits me best. I really like the work of Tyler Shields, but I much prefer "dreamy" and "soft" looking photos like those of Alexandra Sophie http://www.alexandra-sophie.com/, Anastasia Volkova.
P.S. If you know any other photograohers with similar style, please mention.
Also if you know the name of this style?
But my main question is, how can I create these soft, dreamy photographs? I have a Nikon d5100 with a 18-105mm lens.

What about Nikon D60 18-55mm?

There's a friend of my friend who is selling his Nikon D60 18-55mm camera.

For 350 USD.

I'm a total newbie to systemcameras. But I do have the money.

Added (1). I really love taking pictures. Especially close up ones.

I think my iPhone 4 camera is great, but I'm ready for a better camera.

Nikon D5100, D7000, or a Cannon?

I'm looking into purchasing my first DSLR! I'm really excited, but I'm also wary because this is a HUGE investment. Here's some background information: I would consider myself to be an amateur when it comes to the 'pro' shots, but I'm familiar with the workings of a camera. I'm comfortable operating an SLR camera, and I've had a lot of experience with Nikon D50's, 60's, and 70's (I want to say - not completely positive) since I've taken both film and digital photography classes. I've had some experience with sports photography and I LOVE it (so I would look into purchasing a lens to aid with that), but my real passion is nature photography. I'm traveling to Maui and Australia/New Zealand in a year, which is my real motivation for getting a camera and learning how to operate it right now. I also want to be able to snap nice candids of my family/friends, but I'm not looking to do anything like portraits or special event photography (unless I want to for fun).

I've never shot with a Cannon before, but I've always been happy with Nikon and all of their works. My questions are:
How much more advanced are the 5100 and 7000 when compared to the D60-90 series?
Which brand is the best for DSLR?
And mainly, what are the differences between the 5100 and the 7000? Will purchasing the 5100 make me kick myself in the foot for not hashing out a few hundred more dollars and investing in the 7000?

Brief Summary:
D5000 or 7000
I want a camera that:
takes GREAT nature photos
great shutterspeed options
has potential to dabble in some videos (all for the fun of it)
this camera is for personal use only, but I want clean, crisp, and stunning shots.

Does the Nikon d60 have geolocation?

I don't want to post pics on Twitter or Facebook if the images from my Nikon d60 camera will reveal my location. I know that not every camera has geolocation, but I'm not sure about the d60.
