Do micro four thirds cameras compare to DSLR's?
I'm struggling to chose between the lumix G2 and the Nikon D5000, does the smaller G2 take pictures comparable to a DSLR?

Do I need a memory card reader?
So I'm getting a Nikon D3000 for my birthday, and I know that you NEED a memory card for this camera. It comes with a USB cable to connect the camera to the computer, but if I do that will the pictures from the memory card load onto my computer? Or do I need to buy a memory card reader…

I would like to sell my Nikon D40X and buy a Nikon D3000. I think they are almost the same.
I'm especially interested in the warranty, because the older D40X doesn't have warranty, so I can't rely on it.
I have a question, is the D3000 as good as a D40X? I mean the quality. When I bought the D40X it was more expensive than todays D3000.

How to adjust the exposure settings to 0 on my nikon d3000?
I just got my nikon and when i take pictures its really dark to people recommended to turn the exposure down to 0 with the button. I try to do that but when i click or hold the button (the +/- button) nothing happens and it doesn't move to 0, it stays all the way up.

Where can i buy a nikon d40? - 1
I tried amazon but they don't have, don't think they sell these anymore. I also don't trust ebay.

Too many cameras to choose from?
Ok, so I recently asked a question about which camera I should buy (DSLR)…
But i've noticed that most of them said (and I read other articles as well) Pentax K-x Digital SLR, Nikon D3100, Nikon D3000, Nikon D90, Nikon D40, Nikon D60, Nikon D5000 and finally Sony Aplha A2xx.
So I was wondering, out of all of them which one will be best suited for a teenager who is new to photography. I'm learning photography next year (as a subject) and I think it's time to upgrade from my olympus fe-360 to a DSLR.
I really love photography because I was playing around with my friend's camera the other day - I must say her CAMERA IS AMAZING, (turned out it was Nikon D40).
However, I was wondering if the cameras mentioned above will be better for beginners, compared to the D40.
Thank you!
Added (1). *Sorry my friend's camera is actually Canon 40D
not Nikon

Nikon D40X vs Nikon D90 - ISO, and sensor uestion?
The Nikon D40X starts at ISO100.
The Nikon D90 starts at ISO200.
Which starting point is better, ISO100 or ISO200?
I'm willing to sell my Nikon D40X and buy a D90. I need the built-in focus motor for the 50mm f/1.8 lens.
I heard the D90 uses a CMOS sensor. Is it as good as a CDD sensor (D40X) in terms of quality?

Will this program be good to edit my pictures with for photography?
i own a nikon d5000.

And filters on Nikon D90 18-105mm VR?
What is the best and filter kit for a Nikon D90?
I have a Nikon
18-105mm vr
50mm f1.4
70-300mm vr
tokina 11-16mm f2.8
i have been looking at the Cokin z-pro kit

is ther a better product out there that would be better for the lens i have?

A good quality SLR camera foe beginner?
I was thinking about purchasing an SLR camera to play around with photography in my spare time. I wouldn't want anything too complicated, but something with a good quality for the money. But I want there to be enough features to mess around with the photo lighting settings and other things in that criteria, but not extremely complicated.
I was considering a Canon rebel t1i but I figured it would be too complicated for a beginner. A rebel xsi, a Nikon D90 and a Nikon D3100 are also in mind.
Any suggestions about this?
