Reviews for lens for a nikon d40x?
I have a Nikon D40x and i'm looking for some new lenses. I currently have a really basic lens, FL- 18-55 but i'm having trouble shooting macro shots, or really just a larger depth of field more defined. Sorry if this makes little sense i'm pretty new to camera talk! But i've been looking for reviews and i'm having trouble finding something.

I'm an amateur photographer. It's nice to have some controlled lighting, unfortunately for this upcoming shoot, i have none available. I need to shoot pieces of furniture in natural light and the environment will prove difficult, since it will be in a open warehouse with no proper walls as backdrop, it's going to be dusty, etc.
i have a nikon d90 and an sb600 as means of equipment along with a tripod. How do i go about shooting these pieces of furniture, making them look professional enough for a catalog? I know photoshop helps too, but I also need advice on how to have good lighting to tone down the not so good state of the background. I also need advice on making a decent plain background in photoshop that might pass off for a studio background in case things don't work out.

Will a rubber camera armor for a Nikon d40 fit a d3000?
Trying to get a rubberized camera armor case for the d3000. The size for each camera looks similar, but I'd like to make sure. Anyone know if one for a d40 will fit?

Are falcon lenses good and would they be good with a nikon d3000?
And also why is this so cheap?

How to find out the shutter count on D5000 nikon?

I just purchased a Nikon D5000 camera. It came with an 18-55mm VR lens?
I would like a lens that will take pictures at night and at football games both day and night. What lens would you recommend?

So I'm trying to do HDR with Nikon D90. Using braketing function. -1, neutral & +1 exposure comp. I set the camera on tripod, using IR remote to release. I notice the first shot always move a little bit. 2nd and 3rd align perfectly. It seems like the camera moved between 1st and 2nd shots. First I thought Vibration lense causing this so I have VR turned off. But the problem always there.
Anyone else having this issue with Nikon D90?

I want to buy a digital SLR and i can't decide between a Canon 450D and a Nikon D5000 or D3001? What do you guys think is the best?

Difference between the Nikon D3000 and the D5000?
I have been asking several questions around camera's recently, because I'm looking for one that I can use that will give me some really good professional quality photo's and I'm not used to anything but a normal point and shoot Kodak Easyshare camera (but I really do love taking photo's and I'm pretty good at it). No I'm not trying to be a professional photographer but I do have some things going on that I NEED a good camera to give me the professional quality. ANYWAY… What is the difference in all of these DSLR camera's I've been hearing about? What is the difference in the Nikon D3000 and the D5000?

Is this a correct sentence? - 2
The D40X camera was made in the days when Nikon really put emphasis on the quality of mid-level DSLRS.
