What type of lens do you need if you want to do macro photography?

I'm thinking of taking an evening course at the local college in a couple of months and its for macro photography. I currently own a Nikon D60 with this lens:
http://www.henrys.ca/24039-NIKON-DX-VR-18-105-F3-5-5-6-AF-S-LENS.aspx

I'm just curious to know what type of lens I should be looking for and how much its going to set me back. The course is not being offered until Jan but want to know how much so I can plan ahead.

New macro lens for my Nikon D5000?

I want to buy a new macro lens for my Nikon D5000
i'm between the Nikon 105mm 2.8 VR or the Sigma 150mm 2.8
i want to know if its true that the sigma is very slow at focusing.

i preferably want the sigma because it has 45mm extra of focal length but if its to slow i rather buy the Nikon 105mm and then buy the Raynox dcr-250 so i can get very close up to bugs ect.

I want know of personal experience if possible.

NIkon D80 (Sensor Cleaning) Service?

I had got some Dust in my Sensor and since its the first time i gave it to K&S Photo for Sensor Cleaning. I got a call saying that "We have tried our best but still there are some more spots which we would recommend to send it to Nikon Service Center" My confusion is what went wrong? I'm going there tomorrow anyways, but Sensor cleaning is a straight forward process and why is it not possible to clean the Sensor by a reputed Service Shop? Something seriously Wrong with my Camera? I'm concerned. I Handle my Camera Gently so… Please let me know your inputs and what do you think abt Nikon Service? How much would i be paying for that Approximately?

Note: Please don't suggest that i can do my own cleaning and stuff, I'm fine to go with a authorised Service center cleaning.

Nikon D80 white balance

My Nikon D80 won't let me change my white balance for some reason. When I try to, it says that I can't change it due to the settings I have on already. I have no idea what to do. I already tried resetting it by pushing the 2 buttons on top with the green dots along side them. Anyone know what I should do?

Can I fix my Nikon D50 err message?

I recentley went yarselling, and a guy was selling this camera for $250 with the different lenses and what not. I saved up for it and finally bought it yesterday and it was fine taking pictures and all that jolly stuff, today I wanted to change the lens and was having trouble doing it. I saw a tutorial (since it's used it didn't come with the manual) and I inserted the wider lens but when I took pictures they didn't record in the memory card and then i saw that it flasher "err" as soon as it's turned on. I put the lense it came with and the same thing is happening. Could it be i'm mounting the lenses wrong? Or maybe it needs to charge? It's my first time using a camera with a lense so if you could dumb down the answers that would be awesome. I did some research and people say to lock in the aperture ring. But I don't think my lenses have that. And it reads "err" not "fee".Is this a big deal or is it fixable? Or did I just get cheated out of $250?

Nikon 50mm f/1.4G AF-S vs Nikon 85mm f/1.8D AF-D?

My friend just bought a 50mm f/1.4G Nikon and I tried it on my Nikon D90. Lens is quite soft at the maximum aperture and the autofocus just isn't what it should be (but it gets the job done).
I've been thinking about buying this lens, but as a second possibility I see Nikon 85mm f/1.8D, which should be optically better from the maximum aperture on (as I can see from the reviews), but I just couldn't found any video on the net which shows the autofocus speed, which is quite important for me.
I was also thinking about the bokeh and DoF and can't figure out which has lens has smaller DoF at maximum aperture, 50mm f/1.4 or 85mm f/1.8? And what about the bokeh, which one makes creamier?
As far as I was thinking about which one to buy, the Nikon 85mm f/1.8 seems a better choice for me (also, the focal length is even better for my needs). I would really need these little puzzels to be solved in my head, so I could decide properly, as I never want to rush into buying new lens.
Thank you for your answers!

Added (1). Fhotoace, thank you for your explanation, but I know quite well what is out of focus blur and unshrap image in areas where it was focused. Maybe I should expressed it as unsharp from f/1.4 up to f/2.
