The 'perfect' settings depends on the lighting conditions at the time, the subject and what you want to do with the subject.

Short answer? If you want someone else to do all the work… Just set the camera to "Auto Everything" as in the first chapter of your user guide and let Nikon do all the work. Nikon is much more familiar with your new camera than we're. That setting will actually do quite well when you are starting out and let you concentrate on expression and composition.

Long answer? There's no one "perfect setting" combination, every application requires a different set of "perfect settings" which are, of course, only perfect for that one application. Add my mantra (and response every time a variation on this question is asked): Take lots of pictures, print your pictures and display them side by side, don't be afraid to experiment, show only your best work to others (and buy a big garbage can for the rest).

Just put it on 'Auto Everything' to start with and use your eyes, they will tell you what to photograph.

There's no one-size-fits-all "perfect" setting. The ideal settings will change every time you point your camera in a new direction.

Learn about exposure. Then start shooting in Manual. It's way easier than everyone tends to assume. That will get you started on getting the perfect settings for each photo you take.

You need to give a little bit more information than you have.

Perfect settings for what exactly?
The settings will depend entirely on the effect and conditions at the time.

The best way for you to "develop" your photography skills would be to buy a book on basic photography and read up on things like camera controls, exposure, composition, light etc.
