NIKON CAMERAS? Which is better? Nikon d50? Or Nikon d3100?

My cousin is going to give me his nikon d50 because he got a new camera. Before i heard the news, i was orginally planning to get a nikon d3100, (i heard great reviews and the price was not that expensive) but since i'm going to get the d50, i don't know if i should get the d3100. This camera has been something i've been waiting for like a month. Is it worth getting it? Or should i just stick to the d50?

Nikon D7000, D5000, or D90?

Is it worth 500 more dollars to get the D7000 vs.a D5000 or D90? They seem to run pretty similar and all have their pros and cons. Any suggestions?

Brad Paisley Concert - SLR Camea?

I'm going to a Brad Paisley concert and I recently discovered that camera are allowed, but not ones with detachable lenses.

I have a Nikon d40 with a detachable lense, and I have taken it to a concert at the same arena with no problem.

I want to sneak it in (like hide the body under my dress, in a jacket, etc.) but if they find it, will they kick me out? I know they'll take it and give it back after the show, but what else would/could they do? Should I do this?

I could use some advice on picking out a new camera?

I'm going to ask for a camera for Christmas, but my parents aren't made out of money (Who's parents are, really?) so the camera can't cost a fortune. I'm somewhat of a noob to photography, but I'm a stickler for details also. So the camera I use now doesn't really cut it for me. I don't claim to be a great photographer but I honestly think my cheap camera is holding me back and making things more difficult than they need to be. So basically what I want is a camera above the easy to use point-and-shoot kind of thing. The camera should be pretty all purpose, and it HAS to be digital. I would use it mostly to take macro and portrait shots, so I guess I'll buy special lenses later on. But all I'm asking you guys is for any suggestions. I thought the Nikon D40 would suit me pretty well but it's a bit out of my parents' price range. If you have any recommendations whatsoever, please share them with me. And also, if you could find a website that's selling a nice camera for a really cheap price (the camera doesn't have to be brand new as long as it works fine) then I would appreciate it immensely if you included a link to that too.

Nikkor 10-24mm vs Tokina 11-16mm?

I need a new wide-angle lens for my Nikon D90 and I'm having a hard time choosing between these two. There's a $200 difference between them (the Nikkor being more expensive).
Any opinions for image quality, speed, durability, etc?

Inspiration for a photography competition?

I'm doing a competition where you have to take 10 photographs that sort of 'tell a story' which can be about anything. I have a Nikon D5000 so I'm fine with any technical ideas or really creative ones. Basically I really need some inspiration! I'm 15, and if you want to know anything more about me then just ask, if that helps you out with ideas.
