Brad Paisley Concert - SLR Camea?
I'm going to a Brad Paisley concert and I recently discovered that camera are allowed, but not ones with detachable lenses.
I have a Nikon d40 with a detachable lense, and I have taken it to a concert at the same arena with no problem.
I want to sneak it in (like hide the body under my dress, in a jacket, etc.) but if they find it, will they kick me out? I know they'll take it and give it back after the show, but what else would/could they do? Should I do this?
Probably not. Anyone showing up with an slr camera is usually considered "media" and the camera will be disallowed. I'd suspect that's how it'll work for you as well. But hey, call the venue and check.
Each concert has their own rules, so even if you have taken a DSLR to that arena before and it was okay, it won't be with this one.
If you are successful in sneaking it in, if security sees you using it, you could be kicked out, or your camera taken and you may never see it again. Do you really think it's worth it to have these things happen?
Why not just either bring a P&S or buy a program, sit back and enjoy the concert. Unless you are in the first few rows, you wouldn't get any good pics anyway. They don't want you to get good ones!
