Inspiration for a photography competition?
I'm doing a competition where you have to take 10 photographs that sort of 'tell a story' which can be about anything. I have a Nikon D5000 so I'm fine with any technical ideas or really creative ones. Basically I really need some inspiration! I'm 15, and if you want to know anything more about me then just ask, if that helps you out with ideas.
If you have a favourite book or story, maybe you could illustrate it with photographs.
alternatively, you could come up with a short story yourself and illustrate it, perhaps presenting it as a book could make it stand out from other entries.
How about "a day in the life of… "? Follow one thing from sun-up to sun-down. Maybe a landscape under different lighting throughout the day?
I just did a blog using pix, check it out. It may give you an idea…
Ps no teddy bears where harmed in the making of this blog.

I like the 'a day in the life of' idea. But i would make the subject a person.
i have a thing for sad people in black and white photos.a lot of people i know (photographers) feel the same way.
an example of a photo you can do is, sipping on coffee outside in the morning, dim lit morning.
or stareing into the fridge with a blank look on the face.
driving in the car.
if you want to make it a little more powerfull then have the only smiling picture being one when the person holding hands with someone or something.
