Will a tiffen 52mm warm polarizer filter fit on my Nikon D3100?
I was looking at filters and I liked how this one gave such a dramatic feel to pictures, and I would like to get it A. S.A.P if it fits, thank you
Added (1). I'm talking about its kit lens

I'm going to a friends concert this weekend maybe, and besides moshing, I decided that I'm going to try to take awesome looking photos for the bands. I was just wondering what settings I should use to take nice, awesome, action-shot like photos of bands. I have a Nikon D90 (it's my fathers, but I use it now) and I don't really know much about it.It'd be great if someone can tell me how to set my camera up so its ready to take awesome concert photos.
Things to note (may or may not matter)
-The room will be darkish beside little stage lights possibly
- I don't have any more lenses then what it has on now (as to whether its a different lens then what it actually came with, I'm not sure)
Also, would it be advised if it's a dark room to bring a sock to cover up the flash? I know a lot of people do that, and one of the photographers at the last show had a sock covering up his flash, his pictures came out amazing.

What DSLR to buy as a first serious camera?
I'm new to serious photography. Until now, I have only used those point and shoot cameras from pentax to sony, olympus, canon and the lot. All gimmicky. Now, my wife's a designer and she has been asking me to get a camera to shoot her creations. I also have some interest in photography and i have played around with a friends old Nikon F5, D80 etc.
I have seen through the market and I think a $1000 (Rs 45-50k) price point is good enough investment. I have been inclined towards Nikon or Canon because of availability, servicing and component availability is better with these 2 in India. I have seen Canon EOS550d (Rs 50K) and I like the features. Further, Nikon D90 (Rs. 59K) has a rock solid reputation. I don't know where to start. I would also like to know, what starter lens apart from the kit lens (18-55mm) should I buy.

Best settings for Nikon D5000? - 2
When edit photos on the computer they look great but when I print them out they are distorted fuzzy and not very good quality. Is it from the shooting or I just haven't got my camera on the right settings? What are the best setting for my camera?

What setting to put my Nikon on JPEG Fine or JPEG Normal?
My pictures are coming out distorted when I print them. What setting should I have my Nikon d5000 on? Please give me a detailed description on the settings i should be on.

Reducing 'Noise' in the photos?
I use nikon D40 & the lens is Sigma 70-300mm. I usually take photos in ISO 200 and use a UV filter. I get fair amount of noise in the photos. According to what i know if you take photos in low ISO there should be no noise. What are the factors which determine noise and how can i reduce it.

How to convert RAW files to.jpg?
I shoot in RAW when I use my DSLR camera (Nikon D3000).
The problem is when I want to put these photos on the internet (like Facebook, for example), it won't let me. Is there any way I could convert the. NEF files to a.jpg? Maybe through photoshop?

What lenses are much similar to the nikkor 85mm f/1.8 in quality?
I'm looking for a zoom lens but with a smaller focal length than an 85mm due to the 1.5x crop sensor on my d90
Added (1). The 85mm is very high quality in terms of portraiture

What sort of wide-angle or fixed lenses are there for the Nikon D5000?
It's so hard to find a straight forward sort of explanation as to what lens is going to work best with my camera. I have the AF-S KIKKOR 18-55mm as well as the 55-200mm. So what's next? I would really like a wide-angle lens and a fixed (or prime). But no idea what is what and all that.

How do you force the Camera's shudder speed to be Instant no matter the lighting?
In dark areas it makes the camera take "Longer" pictures thus giving it a blurry effect if i move even a millimeter
Only way i can get Instant pictures if i use flash, but i dislike flash.
