What setting to put my Nikon on JPEG Fine or JPEG Normal?

My pictures are coming out distorted when I print them. What setting should I have my Nikon d5000 on? Please give me a detailed description on the settings i should be on.

Simple really.
Always use the highest resolution/setting your camera has.
It is very easy to reduce the resolution if you want, you can't however increase it properly.

Use Large + Fine for the best results.

Large for the most resolution (a quantity setting - the number of pixels stored).
Fine for the least amount of compression when the camera converts images to jpg (a quality setting).

If your prints are coming out distorted, something else is going wrong. Probably in the editing stage or with your printer settings… We'd need more information to troubleshoot.

Make sure it not on flower for close up you think pic right but its not if do close up turn camera off it resets but it also means the flash might go off and if face and light ok you don't want to do that also setup has large and fine setting thing if don't take it right it comes out wrong mines old nikon coolpix 4300 got it goodwill for 15 dollars good luck bubble
