Decent non-expensive camera for cinematic filming?

I need a camera that 'at least' will work just as well as the Canon 70d. Just a camera for pointing and shooting. My price range is at least under 800 or 700. I tend to do a lot of fast movement and under extreme desert sunlight and cloudy weather. Sometimes maybe at night.

I know I'm gonna be suggested a dslr from canon/nikon/sony etc. And believe I know how well they work but I need a camera right that'll work just as well as them.

Why am I unable to take sharp photos with my 18-55mm lens?

It's my first DSLR camera (Nikon D5300), and the 18-55mm lens. I'm still taking pictures in auto, but I feel that my pictures are not as sharp as the pictures I see of my friends with other lenses.

Can I get a lens adapter kit for my Nikon L830? Macro shots?

I know they sell them, but I have read multiple things about it and some people are saying that you can't attach lens to it even with an adapter… So then my question is what would be the best camera to use for macro shots? The L830 has a 34 point optical zoom and I'm looking for more than that for less that $400. Does it exist?

Just wondering if that sounds right?

How many fps do old DVD camcorder record at?

I have one and it looks really smooth. Specially compare to my newer Nikon 1080p @30fps. It's crazy how they still give new cameras a run for their money.

What type of film should I use for a Nikon FM2 50mm 1.4?

I'm a little confused about what type of film I would need for this camera. If my lens is a 50mm, does my roll of film need to be 50mm? If someone could either link me to the film I need to buy or give me the name of one, that would be so helpful!

When sighting in a gun scope, what does left and up mean?

I have a Nikon prostaff and I'm not sure about sighting it in. I did it last year, but I don't want to waste ammo by being wrong. So, what goes left when you turn the dial left is it the corsshairs? Or the image? Also, is it the same with up and down?

And! If it moves 1/4th inch at 100 yards, that would be 1/2 inch at 50, right?

Lens recommendations for Canon DSLR?

I'm looking for a new lens for my Canon 70D that suits what I want.

I need- a lens that is a wider angle, under a 20mm, is great in low light (I'll be using it to take long exposures of the stars in the night sky), also a lens that is great for daytime landscape shots as well.

If anyone can please recommend a good lens that fits those requirements that isn't too pricey, please respond! It would be well appreciated!

Good digital camera for a newbie to digital cameras?

My Mom used to take lovely photo's with her 35mm, she said it had the f-stops and all that. I don't really understand camera talk, sorry ^^; She had to stop for a few years because of her eyes but there on the mend and I want to buy her a camera, as a gift.

She's never used a digital, so I thought something simple would be good, but not to simple that she can't take photo's like she used too. If that makes any sense to you, please give me a brand, style, name of what you think would be best.
