My Camera Won't Flash?

**Nikon S200 Camera
** If its on Flash mode it still won't flash but a red light blinks
** i haven't dropped it
** Battery has been charged
i really don't know why it won't flash is there anything i could do to fix this
i really need the flash! "/

You can try and fix it but will probably almost cost as much as a new camera i'm not familiar with your model. So it is up to you.
