Best brand for a digital camera?

What is the best one: sony, nikon or canon? And why?

Canon… I used to have a Sony camera, but the pictures aren't as clear as the Canon. Also, to upload your pics online or onto your computer, you have to buy accessories to do that. The memory sticks aren't cheap either. The Canon camera usually comes with everything you need and the pictures are very clear.

There's no best brand. It's strictly on a camera to camera basis

You get what you pay for no matter what brand, a top of the line Sony camera will be better than an entry level Canon, a cheap Nikon will be worse than a top of the line Canon and so on

The only advice I would give is avoid brands like HP, GE, DXG, Aiptech, Vivitar, Jazz and other brands that aren't known for making cameras

Stick to Nikon, Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Pentax, Fuji film, Olympus, Casio, Ricoh and Samsung ect. And you'll get a good camera as long as you spend a reasonable amount of money
