What type of lens fit Sony a580, canon 600d, 7D and nikon d1500?

What do you think is best (all around and for the money)… Sb-400, sb-600, sb-700, or sb-r200

My uncle just gave me a nikon camera for my birthday. What does it do? It came with this HUGE attachment or something. Like, is it a special type of camera or just a regular camera?

I know this is a personal question I guess. But what is generally better (for like sports, people, landscapes, etc.). Please explain your reasoning. Also what nikon/canon camera is the best for $1500 or lower?

Nikon 35mm f1.8g vs 50mm f1.8g?
Which would be more useful for a person who wants to get into portraits. I don't want to copy his style, but I want my portraits to be kind of like Scott Schmann's portraits. Mostly like the portraits with the whole body in it. Those are the ideal portraits I would like to take.
But I don't want to limit myself. I would also like to take portraits closer up. Anything but headshots really.
What do you guys think?

Which camera brand is better. Canon, nikon, panasonic or sonic?
What makes it better?

Difficulty formating a compact flash card?
I'm using a griffin multiport device (not sure if that's what they are called) that i know works as different usb sticks and CF cards run fine on it. A while ago another multiport device screwed up my CF and my nikon says the card can't be used. I select format within the cameras menu and nothing happens. I have no connected it to a laptop, however the laptop does not register anything. I have tried device management but nothing appears there either. Any useful tips would be greatly appreciated i'm going mad as my only alternative is a 512mb CF,
Cheers

Using a Nikon Lens mount on sony NEX-3 camera?
I'm looking into getting a Nikon lens for my Sony NEX-3. I know that I need a adapter to do this, but was wondering if the adapter only works for specific lenses. I'm looking at this one on ebay now: http://cgi.ebay.com/..._500wt_949.
Any recommendations for other lenses or help altogether would be nice!

Suggest me which SLR camera is best for professional photography?
Actually i want to do fashion shoots and insects photography. Weight does not matter for me but it should be handy and easy to operate.
I'm a nikon user and using D 70 now a days. I wanted to change my camera I have no budget, and I'd like an all round good camera which has
-decent battery life
-good features on the camera
-produces clear, crisp images (good lens quality)
-consistant in the quality of the images (does not blur easily + works in all conditions e.g dark, light, indoors, outdoors etc

Is the Nikon SB-25 a 35 mm camera with manual operations?
