How to tell if the lens will fit?
First of all, I have no knowledge about cameras or photography whatsoever. I was cleaning out my mother's closet and happened across an old film Nikon with a nice looking lens in the bag. I think it's a 300 mm. If I were to buy a digital Nikon, how would I know if the lens would fit? I'm not sure of the lens brand, if that's relevant. I could do some digging and find a booklet or something if I have to. Again, I know absolutely nothing about cameras, so thank you for answering my question.
My sister got a car for her 16th birthday because at the time, we lived in Japan and 16 year olds could drive on the military base. That was two years ago, and a few weeks ago we moved to Italy. Everywhere in Italy you have to be 18 to drive, which my sister now is. I just turned 16 four months ago and my sister has had two of her own cars (one in Japan, another in Italy) and I've had zero. My parents said they will get me something equivalent to the cost of a car to make up for it.
I have some ideas like:
- Nikon camera
- Kindle
- Desktop Mac Computer (I already have a laptop)
- My own dog
- Katy Perry or Rihanna concert (they're both coming to Italy in a couple months)
Any suggestions? Another thought I had would be to donate the money. Although, and I don't want to be selfish, but I do think it would be nice to have a sweet sixteen present.

Hi, I think I have inadvertently piked up someone elses camera in Brugge on the 17th August.
It is a black Nikon S300 and have what look s to be photos in a camera shop, probably where purchased from.
If this is your camera then you more-than-likely have mine of the same model which has a couple hundred photos on it from Amsterdam, antwerp and also brugge.

I've been looking into the Canon EOS rebel T3i as a new photographer. I know there's so many choices but i don't have a whole lot of money. Nikons tend to be more expensive, but i hear are better cameras. I want to know- What brand is better? What makes them better? What's the best good and cheap camera to get from that brand? And any other information about their cameras and tips and what not.

I have a Nikon camera, and it says that my monitor is off. I can't take any pictures, please help I'm on vacation, I need my Nikon to work.
It only says: Monitor off and on the top of camera it says Error.
Nikon MH-18a quick charger: fast-blinking light?
When I charged the battery at the beginning it was blinking slowly/normally. Then after 1/2 hour it stopped charging and started blinking very fast and the battery/charger were very hot. (my batteries are genuine EN-EL3a)
Please give me idea. What should i do?
