What is a really good digital camera to buy?

I do not know too much about what to look for in cameras. I have Nikon s9100, to me it is fast, but pictures come out blurry. I'm looking for a camera that is fast, great zoom, good flash. Any recommendations? I liked that canon s95 but I read it is a little on the slow side… I like more a Canon. Or a Nikon but I'm open to other brands.

Is this even remotely possible?

I love the look of the old Nikon SLR's, but I want it to be digital. Is there any way to take the guts of a dslr and put it into an old school slr body? I understand that the sensors are different, so it'd be everything from the dslr and simply the slr body casing. Any ideas?

Recommend a Digital Camera for Me?

So, I'm looking for a new digital camera as mine is just the typical slim camera that does very basic things and the screen is cracked. I would use it for pictures when attending conventions (Like Anime Expo, Connecticon, Comic Con, etc.), the occasional trip, and when I feel as though I'd like to do a mini photo shoot. I want something not to big but not a slim camera, I mainly don't want to have a large lens attachment.

I wanted to say I save the photos I want to my computer buy I own a Sony DSC-H55 and with Sonys PMB software it recognizes my camera imports right away and a click on the pic or group of pics a click on Facebook icon and upload and viola, its on Facebook. I do this because its sipler than my pcs software and I don't want to keep slot of the stuff I put on Facebook. My girlfriend owns the NIKON and I was hoping they made somthing as simple for her as NIKON has for me. But if not, I guess 3rd party it is. By the way you make it sound like posting on Facebook is juvenile or somthing like that. Let me tell you, if you don't post on Facebook these days your in the minority. To each his own but it just sounded as if you were trying to sound superior or somthing.

I have a NIKON S550 with pictureproject from a previous camera, I deleted that and got NX, deleted that and got NX2, but from nx2 to picturetown to Facebook is kind of a joke as far as getting a picture in Facebook these days. Also as far as I know with picture town it only goes straight to your page, no options for diferent albums, headings, profile etc.

Does NIKON have better/newer software that makes it simpler and with more options than NX2 and picturetown?

I have decided that I want a telephoto lens as my second lens because my kit lens can handle landscape and portraits. Is the NIKON 70-300mm VR a good telephoto lens to upgrade to. If so which camera bag should I get, I was thinking the lowepro slingshot 202 AW. Any help is appreciated.

I don't want any people saying save up for a 70-200mm 2.8 because I really don't have that money on me now because I'm still a student so those type of lenses will be in the future.
