Rifle scope mount input. Got some?
I need some input on what scope mounts to get for 3 rifles. Accelerator 17HMR with Nikon 3-9x40mm… /Remington 700 BDL 30-06 with Leupold VX-II 3-9x50mm… /Sub Moa.338 with Leupold VX-II 4-12x50mm. Anyone with any experience with these rifles or knows what their talking about I
appreciate the input. Not afraid to spend for reliability, but look for good bang for the buck.
GUYS, do you guys prefer NIKON J1 or FUJIFILM X10? Which one is the better one? I'm going to buy it in about few hours and i need comments from you guys!

Can I travel with my camera lens on my carry-on bag w no problem?
I recently purchased a nikon DSLR camera and some lens that are very, very expensive.
I have a trip coming up on Dec. And obviously I'm very nervous putting them inside my check-in luggage because some TSA or whoever might go & steal it.
I can put them inside my carry-on bag with no troubles going thru the security check points, right?

My laptop can't play 1080p videos without everything going choppy but I have a Nikon J1 which records in 1080p. How do I get my laptop to play the videos I've taken so I can watch and edit them?
I'm looking to upgrade from my pretty standard digital camera (Nikon S3000) to a new camera for my holiday. After researching it seems that I'm stuck between the two (even though they are quite different).
In terms of compactness I would probably use the 16mm lens more frequently if I went for the C3 (even though the 18-55mm would not be too much of a problem)
Most of my pictures would consist of the wife and kids and some of the resort. Which camera would I get the best pictures from?
The best price is around £220 for the HX9V and £360 for the C3.
Also which would hold its value better if I was to upgrade in 12-18 months (I'm aware that the HX20V is due for release in April/May but not sure about any plans to upgrade the C3).

What kind of professional camera do you suggest?
I'm looking into professional cameras lately to price them and such and was wondering what kind you would recommend. I'm looking between Canon and Nikon, but Canon seems better at the moment. Also, I would like one that the lenses can be changed to suit a certain lighting, setting, etc. I pretty much am looking for one that could be used for professional use if I were to become a photographer full time.
