Nikon 1 lens 10mm or 30-110mm?
I'm trying to transition from my point and shoot to a more advanced one but not a full dSLR since they're too big. I was thinking about getting the Nikon 1 but I'm confused when it comes with lens. I was going to get one of the bundles I saw in a sales paper but it had the option of 10mm or the 30-110mm as the extra lens. I have no idea what they. Which one is better for close up/macro and what one has better zoom and how much zoom like how a point and shoot says 20x zoom what is the nikon 1 lens.
Added (1). I frogot to mention that the kits come with 10-30mm and one of the others.
Where can I find a decent priced photography camera?
I'm looking to buy a photography camera and of course my first stop is a Nikon as I do know they are as expensive as all get out. I'm very big into nature and historical site photography and have an eye for just about anything. I want something that will best compliment my work this is just for my satisfaction but I'm very passionate about it. Price to me is just a bit scary because I'm a full time single mother and student so saving isn't a piece of cake but I'm willing to hold off on new things in order to save up.
Well now that I'm done sharing my life lol Where could I look for a camera that is worth the money and possibly comes with a warranty (so i'm more at ease when purchasing it)?
Also, one I have the camera would it be ok to buy used or refurbished lenses to save money?

Need advice on digital cameras?
I have been using an older Canon powershot for about 3 years. I took it to Italy with me, and have beat the tar out of it. Now I want an upgrade. Can you guys give me some suggestions?
Here is what I want:
1) I take pictures of flowers a lot so I want something that has really good focus and can take good close ups, one of the pictures I have wanted to take for a while is a rose with its thorns, but the focus on my old camera isn't good enough. I need FOCUS.
2) HOWEVER, I want the best of both worlds. I want to be able to zoom in on something far away and not have it be blurry which I get all the time with my old camera. In Italy I tried to zoom in on clock towers and they turned out blury no matter how hard I tried to focus it.
3) Continuous photo drive
4) Digital
5) I prefer either a Nikon or Canon
6) Under $500 (obviously that is just my dream, if it is more then it is more, but I hope to stay around that price)

LED monitor compatible with old computer's?
I'm planning to buy a 20" LED monitor. I currently use a normal CRT monitor. Will the new LED monitor be compatible with my PC? If you don't mind please answer for this question too… I have a Nikon P500 camera. It has a HDMI cable, will I be able to plug it to the HDMI port of the monitor with its HDMI cable without any connection with my computer? Since my graphic accelerator is not HD, will this monitor be usefull? Please answer me at the earliest.
