LED monitor compatible with old computer's?
I'm planning to buy a 20" LED monitor. I currently use a normal CRT monitor. Will the new LED monitor be compatible with my PC? If you don't mind please answer for this question too… I have a Nikon P500 camera. It has a HDMI cable, will I be able to plug it to the HDMI port of the monitor with its HDMI cable without any connection with my computer? Since my graphic accelerator is not HD, will this monitor be usefull? Please answer me at the earliest.
I currently use an IBM "Thnkcentre M/T 8123 / KQP". My graphic accelerator is "Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family". Pentium 4 processor.
Yes LED monitor is compatible with old
computer also
In all old and new graphics cards there's a VGA port also called a D-Sub port. Most LED monitors have a D-Sub port. So connection will not be a problem. A graphics card with an HDMI out put port is not very costly now a days. Say 2000 rupees.http://www.ebay.in/itm/261020596535 you can purchase one and get Full HD in your monitor. You read your camera manual for details about the HDMI port provided. It is only an out put port and hence should be capable of connecting to the LED monitor.
