What settings should I have my Nikon J1 on?
I have the Nikon J1, I'm going to be taking pictures of my friends for there senior pictures. All my directions and manuals are in japanese… So I'm out of luck. But if anyone has the camera and is pretty professional with it or comfortable and know how to use it well, can you please tell me what settings I should have it under? Please and thank you.
Need to buy a amateur/professional level camera
OK so now there are many cameras SLR, DSLR, EOS etc. M confused which camera Nikon or canon or Sony etc should i buy. Have been using point & shoot camera for a very long time so now i need to upgrade amateur/professional level camera. As buying a amateur/professional level camera is once a lifetime thing so can't prefer buying a beginners level one now. My budget for the camera is 35000-40000 INR ( In dollars it would be around $627-718 approx).so kindly please suggest me a camera with preferred lenses if possible.
How much would a nikon fm10 sell at a pawn shop?
I have a nikon fm10 that is in great condition along with its case… I'm wondering how much would a pawn shop buy for? Also do you think it would be better to give it to a pawn shop or sell it online?
How to get rid of a camera scratch?
Omg I just found out I got a scratch on my Nikon camera on the front screen where you view the picture. Is there a way I can replace the screen? Or get someone to fix it or is there any home remedies I can try to like Make it un scratched?
I got it just last week and I didn't put the screen protester on and it already got a scratched.
What are some good high quality cameras?
I'm looking for a good camera with auto focus. It can be any type of camera. Mostly good for high quality videos and pictures. If you would give information about the camera that would help. Not really looking for those really big Canon or Nikon type of cameras cause they are kinda pricey, just looking for those normal sized cameras at the moment. Any cameras you recommend? I heard some of those digital Canon cameras were good.

Why won't all my pictures show up in places on Aperture?
I have close to 3000 pictures on my Aperture program from a GPS enable Nikon. But it only shows 44 pictures in places. I really want to see where all my pictures where taken.
