Nikon or Canon for sure. I'm a beginner to SLR's but not at all to photography, I'm quite advanced in it and know a lot but have never had the money for a very good camera. Let me share my biggest issues with my $200 compact camera that I would like to move past:
-Bad at capturing motion clearly (I would love the best action mode possible, actually able to show a clear moving image even at fairly fast speeds)
-VERY bad at low light (I would love being able to take a clear picture of the stars and such)
-Not a lot of manual controls, poor for things like slow shutter speed
-not great at capturing the light
what is the best I can get with these key features? My budget is comfortable at $550, possibly $600. Whatever lens is included needs to be decent as macro as it will be a while before being able to afford a macro lens.
Does Nikon make good rifle scopes?

Help understanding pushing a 35mm film when shooting?
I can't develop film myself. I send it to a lab.
If I use a film, let's say Ektar 100, and set my 35mm Nikon to 400 ASA, shoot the roll, and then send it to the lab with a note that asks for process for 400 ASA…
Is that pushing 100 to 400?
As for why… I'm just trying to learn, and I'd like to get some grain in there. Lol!
Ok so I bought a Nikon F-301 Camera but it was just the body and now I'm searching for a compatible lens that won't cost me an arm and a leg!
Any suggestions would be great! I'm new to the photography world and trying to learn!
Where can I buy a 35mm film camera?
I need a 35mm film camera for my photography class. The only ones I can seem to find on sale online are on eBay or Amazon where they are sold as used cameras. Is there anywhere I could buy a new one? Maybe a Nikon or Canon and under $100? It has to be a 35mm film camera.
