How to keep a Nikon 3200 from taking.nef files?
I recently got a Nikon 3200 DSLR camera and I noticed that when I take a picture it saves two pictures. A. Jpeg and a.nef. I don't really need the.nef file for what I do and it is almost twice the size of the.jpeg files. So essentially my memory card is 2/3rd filed with wasted space. Is there a way to make the nikon just take the.jpeg pictures? I've been looking on the site and the forums, but haven't had any luck just yet.
I have damaged my viewfinder in my Nikon FM. The glass appears to broken and a black fluid is appears to be shattered. I was wondering if there was anywhere in the UK that would be able to fix / replace the damage.
If you know a site that has a guide to fixing or replacement parts, that would be good also
Photography lighting and background?
I want to start modeling and can't afford a photo shoot right now to start up a portfolio, so I'm just going to get my tripod, my Nikon, and do it myself, but I don't know what to do as for the lighting and the background! I don't want to go out and spend money, so it would be amazing if someone can tell me how I can make all of this happen from home.
I'm looking for a nice DSLR camera that can take high quality photos but is affordable, any suggestions?
Preferably under $400 and either canon or nikon
I saw a movie on Youtube, and he said he used the Canon Eos 550D, with the Nikon 50mm lense.
Can you use a Nikon lense on a Canon camera?
Because I want to make book trailers, and things. But I need a good lense for my eos 550D, if you can't mix Nikon lenses with Canon?

Good Cameras for semi-beginner photographers?
I have a question for all you photographers out there. I'm 15, and I have been into photography for about two years now. In Christmas 2011 I got a Kodak Easyshare camera, and I absolutely loved it and have been using it ever since. It was great for just getting started in photography, but it definitely isn't as fancy as some of the stuff out there. I really want to get serious about photography and start a local business someday fairly soon. I enjoy it so much, and I've even gotten quite a few compliment! I just don't know what exactly to look for since I'm so new to this, and I don't want to end up with something just like what I have now. Does anybody have any idea of something (or a few things) that are a step above what I have now that would be helpful to take my pictures to the next level? I was thinking about a Nikon, but once again, I really have no idea what I'm looking for. Any ideas? Thanks so much in advance! And by the way, I should probably say what kind of pictures I take. I do a little bit of everything. People, nature, a pair of antique binoculars… You name it! Just whatever inspires me. And I always like to take it from an artistic perspective.
Are these good seats at Jones Beach Nikon Theater in Wantagh?
I'm seeing a One Direction concert at Jones Beach on June 29th and my seats are in section 14R. Are these seats decent?
