How does the Nikon D600 compare with the D700 and D800?
What do you guys think? It the D600 living up to its hype? I went to a camera store today and I was playing with it a little bit. I'm thinking about buying the Nikon D600.

Where can I find the Nikon D600 at the cheapest price?
If you are a owner of D300/D300s - Would this be a good upgrade? (D300s owner) I'm thinking about buying the nikon d600, I read reviews and everything is good. I'm looking for a good place to get it.
Also, please share your experience with the D600! I'm very excited for this Nikon Digital SLR camera to be in my hands already

Nikon 14-24 or Nikon 24-70 for landscape?
I'm a enthusiast photographer with expectations to go pro in the future. I'm tied on whether I should go for the 14-24 and it's notorious wide angle quality or should I go for the 24-70 which has a little bit of wide angle and portrait standard. I'm looking to use either one for landscape. This will be my first zoom in years since I'm a prime guy throughout my experience.
Added (1). Body is a Nikon D700

I have done some portrait and wedding photography work over the last couple years as a side job and am wondering what lenses I should invest in? I have two D300 bodies but am thinking in the future I will save up and upgrade to a full frame camera like the D600. Currently I have:
18-55 3.5-5.6 DX VR Nikkor
55-200 4-5.6 DX VR Nikkor
35 1.8 DX Nikkor
35-70 2.8 Nikkor
10-20 4-5.6 Sigma
SB 600
Hoya Macro FIlter (+4, +2, +1)
I'm considering buying: 50mm 1.4 AF-D Nikkor and the 80-200 mm 2.8 ED AF-D Nikkor to complete my kit (I know the 70-200 VR II is probably better but I've read threads about how VR is good for still photography vs.action in low lighting and I'd be using this for weddings).
I've read lots of threads about which lenses are the best but thought I'd throw this out there before making a final decision. I'm on a bit of a budget, but don't want to compromise quality.
Your suggestions and advice are appreciated!

Is switching from Nikon D700 to Canon 5D Mark 3 worth the trouble?
I heard that shooting landscape is better in Canon than in Nikon while some photographers prefer Nikon when shooting portraits because of its skin tone rendering.i'll be doing landscape, portraits and travel.i've a nikon 24-70 and 70-200 vr1. I plan to trade my nikon d700 + 24-70 for a 5D M3 then sell my 70-200 for a Canon 16-35 or 24-70. Can you help me decide?

Taking photos of dodgeball players?
I have a nikon d300 and i was asked to take photos of some friends playing dodgeball. The lighting isn't that great in building, yet i don't want to use flash and blind or distract them. What settings should i be set to for low lighting and action shots? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nikon DX 35mm f1.8 vs FX 50mm1.4?
I have a D80 (DX) and D800 (FX) bodies. I'm thinking of buying the 35mm f1.8 and putting it on the D80 body vs buying the 50mm 1, 4 FX lens. Then for my D800 I would have a wide angle and a telephote lens. Is this a bad idea? I'm not a profesional amd wondering what I might be losing out on with this idea. Than k you

Why is the Canon AE-1 Program's viewfinder so good?
And why aren't modern DSLRs' viewfinders just as good if not better? Is it an issue of parallax or something like that? I've been using my dad's old Canon AE-1 Program on and off (have some FD lenses whose modern equivalent I can't yet afford) and when I first compared the viewfinder of the AE-1 to that of a modern Canon Digital Rebel, I was amazed by how much better the AE-1's was -- much larger and clearer.
What surprised me even more is that apparently it is better than even the high end DSLRs' like the 5D, the following being taken from Ken Rockwell's site:
"Not only is the AE-1 Program a joy to use and makes great pictures, it has a huge, bright finder. Its finder is one of the largest, clearest and brightest finders ever made. Its finder is bigger than the finder of the Canon 5D Mark II, and much bigger and brighter than the finder of the Nikon D3X.(… )"

High Shutter Burst with timer?
I want to set but Nikon d200 to take 3 photos (shutter burst) but its of a group and everyone has to be in it including me. It only lets you do one mode at a time.

I need a should messenger bag for the following equipment. Nikon 14-24 2.8, Nikon 50 1.4, Nikon 85 1.4 and finally a Nikon 70-200 2.8 VRI and if possible a spot for a Nikon D700 body with no grip.
