Best digital camera for beginners?
I own a Nikon D90 and want a better camera so my photos look better. I was thinking of getting the Nikon D800 or the D4. The D800 I'm sure will look better because of the higher megapixels which means its a professional camera. All my photos I upload to face book look blurry and blocky. Also The D800 uses the SD cards which my D90 does but also has a CF card slot, which I assume holds better quality photos since its bigger? I'd like to stay with Nikon because I have the 18-200 lens that came with my D90. But If I have to go to another brand like canon or hasselblad to get better pics then I have to.

Nikon d800 light assistant beam not working?
The light assistant works only when the camera chooses the focus point in single mode shooting. When turned on one point the light beam doesn't work, any ideas on how to make it work all the time in more focusing modes than just that one?

Good Photography Cameras For Beginners?
I love photography. Well, I guess I should say I love the concept of photography. I love the thought of being able to capture feelings and emotions in one picture. I have a simple digital camera. It's a Sony Cybershot and I would love to upgrade. The only problem is that I'm a soon-to-be high school student, so I don't have much experience with photography. My current dream is to own a Nikon D800. However, being an amateur, I'm not sure this camera is right for me. Are there any suggestions as to what camera would be better for me?
Added (1). For the price range of the camera, I would love it if the camera was under $1, 000.

I want a good but cheap flash for my nikon D3000 (and D800)?
I've ordered SB 900 but I want to buy a second flash that's quite inexpensive but good. I also want it to be compatible with Nikon's TTL system and usable as a slave. I was planning to buy Nissin Di622 Mark || but a friend of mine (photographer) told me it's not strong enough. What do you think?
Any other suggestions?
My budget is up to 180 dollars.
(I'm also planning to buy Nikon D800 in a few months)

Why are my pictures on my DSLR showing up black?
I'm using a Nikon D200 and recently my photos are black when I look at them. It hasn't done this before. What can I do to fix this?
Thanks!
Added (1). I don't know what that means… There are too many buttons!

The only differences in the d600 and the d800 Nikon Cameras I care about are these. If these were the same (either low or high), I'd pick the d600 for the price tag. It's a 1, 000 dollar difference btwn the two (as of right now), otherwise.
To me… Both sound amazing. I have the first d5100 that came with 9 Autofocus points. Not even the ones with 11 (that they all come with now). *rolls eyes*, so 39 seems amazing and 51 sounds overwhelming. I figure though… If I'm going to shell over over 2k for a camera… And 51 points is Way better… I'll dish out the dough for it later. I'd be happy with either: P

I will soon be upgrading to one of these cameras. Please don't suggest I switch to Canon, Pentax, or Sony. I already have Nikon gear, so I'm sticking with the one brand. I shoot alot of my kids sporting events: Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Wrestling. I will be using a Nikon 80-200 AF f2.8 lens. I have done extensive research on these two cameras, and I'm stuck as to which one will be best for me. I realize that the D7000 is a newer design, higher MP (which I'm not concerned about in the least), and better low light performance. What I'm looking for is someone who has had real world experience with both models. All other things being equal, I would buy the D7000, but it just seems by the specs that the 300(s) is better suited for sports with better auto focus, a bigger heavier body to help control the heavy lens, & easier ergonomics for adjustments on the go. I'm not worried about IQ of one vs the other. I have been using a D100 for the last, well forever, and I get excellent results from that camera, so either of the new ones should do as far as that is concerned. Also, I don't really care about video. I have an HD video camera.

What is iso and how is it used?
I currently use a Nikon d3x and a few other professional cameras.
I can never seem to figure out what iso is, i know what everything else is.
Can some one provide a detailed explanation?

NIKON EXPERTS - EXP COMPENSATION AND WHITE BALANCE?
I was wondering if anyone can tell me where this "exposure compensation button is? On a nikon d300? And would some kindly explain what it is and why? I understand it a bit but a nice clarification would help. Also, the setting on white balance on nikons is default… I fail to see its purpose to change it? I know that using tungsten indoors helps etc but does it Really make much difference?
many thanks
Added (1). Ok… Other then M mode. I use manual mose all the time so surely I can just add a stop my self? As opposed to using this compensation button?
