Help choosing Lens for Nikon d3100?

Can you help. I'm stuck between choosing a lens for my nikon d3100. I'm looking at Tamron AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD MACRO 1:2 Lens and a Nikon AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 55-200 mm f/4-5.6 G IF-ED Lens.

Hate the Pop-Up Flash - I've heard speedlights are better?

I have a Nikon d5000, and I really hate what the pop-up flash does to the quality and color quality of a picture, I've heard speedlights help, I've heard that they're better. I saw one that could swivel so the photographer could just reflect light off of the walls of the room (s)he's in, and make the light a lot softer. ANYWAY, I just want to know a good speedlight to try for better lowlight pictures, or any alternative to one. -Chris

Does Windows 7's Windows Movie Maker support. MOV files?

My Nikon D3100 records in. MOV format (quicktime). Does the Windows 7 Windows Movie Maker support. MOV files. On previous versions on XP and Vista it didn't. But when my dad did it on his laptop, it worked! The only reason I'm wondering is because my new computer arrives in a day and I have to edit a project due soon. So will it, or will it not, support. MOV files.

Ideally I'd like for people who actually have and have tried it to answer but any help is greatly appreciated.

Interested in buying a Kodak printer for ink savings, but is the picture quality good?

I want to get a new printer. I currently have an HP Photosmart 2610 that is about 5 years old, So obviously I would want to buy a printer that would have the same or better photo quality.

I was looking at the Kodak printers because they really give you long time savings on ink. But is their photo quality good? Or alteast better than the HP I currently have.

I really would like to print good pictures with my D5000 Nikon camera. So quality is a main reason why I want to get a new printer. I'm interested in photo printing only.

If not a Kodak, any other printer that is good? I'm looking to spend about $200 or so. I was reading about Epsons, but have heard their multi cartrige ink gets expensive and that you have to change all cartriges at the same time.

I would appreciate any help!

My Nikon D40 is taking blurry pictures

Okay, so I have to go to my brothers military graduation in three weeks and all of a sudden my camera goes wack.
Here's the deal; when I take a picture and upload it to the computer they turn up out of focus or soft. They use to be like, mega-blurry and it had trouble actually shooting the pictures. And during someone's Christmas picture shoots? Not cool.
My lens is a 18-55 mm and I also have a 55-200. But it's worse on the 18-55.
Oh, and no. It's not on MF
