Does Windows 7's Windows Movie Maker support. MOV files?
My Nikon D3100 records in. MOV format (quicktime). Does the Windows 7 Windows Movie Maker support. MOV files. On previous versions on XP and Vista it didn't. But when my dad did it on his laptop, it worked! The only reason I'm wondering is because my new computer arrives in a day and I have to edit a project due soon. So will it, or will it not, support. MOV files.
Ideally I'd like for people who actually have and have tried it to answer but any help is greatly appreciated.

I do not think windows movie maker could recognize mov video files directly. So you have to convert mov video to wmm compatible format wmv, avi, mpg. Read the following tutorial.evaluate by yourself.
