How trust worthy is Amazon.com?

I wanted to buy a used slr camera, a Nikon d40, from Amazon and was wondering how trust worthy the used products were.

I trust amazon, i buy items online and they take about maybe 1 week, but they get here.
and if you never receive the item you could call or email the seller, but yeah they will send it.

It's not usually up to Amazon, but instead the individual seller of the used item. Luckily, they usually show the condition of the item and how reliable the seller is by percentage to give you a better idea of what to expect after buying.

We have kindles and buy tons of things for xmas from amazon- i trust them more than ebay!
