Returning my Nikon D3000?
So almost about a year ago, I purchased a D3000.To be exact, the date was March 13, 2010.So recently, I've discovered that my flash lags every now and then, every time I take photos. Is this a technical problem, or is it my fault? I have the extended year warranty for it, so is it okay for me to return it to get a new one?
Since you have not given us any examples of the camera settings you are using when the flash lags, there's no way we can answer your question. Seeing as how it is a DSLR camera, it could very possibly be lagging because of a setting that you have selected, or the situation in which you are shooting.
Call Nikon at 800 -NIKON-UX and ask for advice. They may not give you a new one, but just repair it for you. But don't wait too long!
The warranty is normally with Nikon, not the store.
