Anyone have experience with these lenses?

These are some of the lenses I'm considering. If you have any experience, knowledge, or comments you can share about them, please do so!

A) Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO DG Macro(Motorized)

B) Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO DG Macro
- http://www.sigmaphoto.com/...acro-sigma

**Between A & B, what's the difference between motorized and not?

C) Nikon 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR AF-S DX Nikkor Zoom Lens for Nikon Digital SLR
- http://www.amazon.com/...003ZSHNCC/

** C is probably what I'm leaning toward.

Some points:

1) I'm limited by budget. These lenses are all in my price range. I'm not going to spend more than 500 bucks, period.

2) I'm a hobbyist and bird enthusiast. I know that I'm not going to get perfect photos. I'm just going to do the best I can, I'm not new to wildlife photography (though I lack technical knowledge) and I'm happy with 1/1000 photos turning out good. I've been using the 18-55mm lens that came with my camera, and I've taken some great pictures with it. I enjoy the process, I don't need a perfect result.

3) I use a Nikon d60 digital slr, if that has an impact on which of these lenses might be the best choice.

I've asked about which lenses to get, and got some good advice, but I'm specifically asking about these (or comparable) lenses.

Can a Canon Flash be used on a Nikon camera?

Complete honest question here. My school has Canon cameras/lenses/flashes and I have a Nikon D60. I know the lenses are not compatible, but are the flashes? What -are- the differences between the flashes. I've asked teachers, but they give a vague answer, or don't answer at all. Is it different wattage on the hotshoe?

Added (1). They usually just answer 'no' or 'no, it'll void the warranty' the vagueness comes into play when I ask why (for why it wouldn't work)

I have a Nikon D90 with the kit lens
and I was just wondering what the optimum settings for nightclub photography would be?
I want to be able to capture people in focus (frozen) but I also want to be able to capture the movement of the lights. I will be using manual mode

Macro Lens with Nikon D60?

I'm interested in pursuing a career in nature photography.
I used tamron tele macro 70-300 mm lens to get to learn basics.
since i'm comfortable handling it, I would like to take your
suggestions on the next level of lens for macro photography
preferably [105mm f2.8 range]

i'm confused between nikor lens (which are way too expensive,
but seems too good to resist) and sigma/tamron…

would love to hear your experiences handling these lenses,
based on which i will take my decision.

~ Sunny

Added (1). I read about the nikor VR 105mm f2.8, how different is it from the old ones…

A pro Camcorder Vs DSLR? Video a Priority

Previously I had a question, a battle between Canon 60D and Nikon D7000.
And the best answer was: Sony A55 (disagree!)

After much thought to my purchase I decided to make the fight more exciting. I introduced the Pro Camcorder line to the camera war as I list my requirements I need your advice in choosing my next camera!

It should have/be:

1) A 24p Cinematic Recording
2) Interchangeable Lens for Depth of Field
3) More than an one hour of Video Recording
4) Easy to carry around
5) Adapter for lens in camcorder is acceptable
6) Either a Canon, Nikon, Sony or Panasonic would be considered.

Lets see who gives the best combination or choice!

Canon T3 worth it? New camera soon

I'm getting a new dslr and the T3 is just coming out.
Should I get this instead of a Nikon D3100, Canon xsi/T1i?

Added (1). Yeah, I'm not the average person using an expensive dslr in auto mode.
I have a camera class coming up in the spring semester.

Added (2). I'm also going to guess the T1i is going to go down in price soon?

Nikon D3100 Memory Card?

Apparently the size of the memory card matter to a camera as it can slow it down if the card is too big.
Any idea what size/ the best the memory card is for a Nikon D3100?

Buying a Nikon D3000?

I want to buy a nikon d3000, but its a lot of money and i'm not too serious about photography. I've looked around for other cheaper cameras, but i'm settled on this one. Is there anyway i could get it cheap, like on ebay or amazon without it being a scam? I really don't want to waste my money!
