How to zoom in when I view my pictures on my Nikon d50?
When I review my pictures, I want to be able to zoom in and look closer at the pictures I have already taken.

Best lens for surf photography?
I live in cornwall and do a lot of photography but I want to start doing some surf photography. I was wondering which is the best focal length for standing on a beach and taking the photos.
I have a nikon D5000

Lol, would this be a good idea?
I have a 10 year premium warranty with the store I bought my Nikon D3100 from, would it make sense to just break it on purpose at the end of the 10 years just to get a fresh one?
Added (1). My warranty isn't with Nikon, it's with the store, so Nikon really doesn't have a say in what happens.
Added (2). Hmm, you're right. I'd probably have a new favorite camera in ten years.

Would a Tamron 28-75mm IF lens work with my Nikon D3000?
Hi, I'm looking at buying a Tamron SP AF 28-755mm F2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF) lens and I'm currently using a Nikon D3000 which doesn't have an onboard AF motor. Will this lens have an onboard auto focus motor which will work with me D3000?
Thanks!
This is the lens I'm looking at: http://www.digitalrev.com/en/tamron-sp-af-28-75mm-f28-xr-di-ld-aspherical-if-lens-for-dslr-camera.html?search_category_id=7&manf=33&match_type=1

I'm completely clueless about photography, but would like to start learning from now on with a medium budget.
If I'm only seeking to pursue photography as a HOBBY and will only be using the DSLR with the BASIC KIT, which seems to be more appropriate?
1. Nikon D3100
2. Nikon D90
3. Nikon D7000
Yes, I'm only looking at Nikon as of now:3
The most important aspects of consideration:
Grasp and graphic.
Thanks a lot!
Added (1). Of course, D7000 is the best out of the three. I'm not so sure if it would be beneficial if I use it with my present skills and the basic kit though.

Anybody bought extended warranty on their Nikon D7000?
I want to buy Nikon D7000 but I'm debating on whether to buy the extended warranty or not? Did anyone buy an extended warranty and if so from where? (Best Buy, B&H, etc.)

I'm starting to take pictures of food and want to know which lens of mine would work best.
I'm using a Nikon D90 so take into account the crop factor.
Nikon 50mm 1.4
Sigma 18-50mm 2.8
Sigma 70-200mm 2.8
I normally take portraits looking to expand my skill set.

Is the Nikon 18-55mm VR good for a Nikon D7000 and for somebody with shaky hands?
I've been looking at this lens for my soon to be Nikon D7000 but I just want the opinion of somebody who has had experience with the lens. My arms are rather shaky so I need to know if the image stabilization would work well.
If not, is there a better lens I should be looking at?

Will a Nikon D80 meter work on a Pentax SMC K Lens?
I have a nice Pentax SMC (K-Mount) 50mm f1.2 all manual lens. I know they sell pretty much every adapter imaginable. And I do happen to have a Nikon D80 DSLR. I know I have to control the camera completely manually, but will the meter work with a K lens?

Does my tripod have a quick plate?
I own a Slik Pressman Tripod and a Nikon D40. The camera armor on my D40 makes screwing the camera body to the tripod an ordeal. I recently discovered the existence of the "quick plate." I'm quite sure my tripod doesn't currently have one so I'm wondering if it was ever outfitted with one or if I can buy a set up for it.
