Lol, would this be a good idea?

I have a 10 year premium warranty with the store I bought my Nikon D3100 from, would it make sense to just break it on purpose at the end of the 10 years just to get a fresh one?

Added (1). My warranty isn't with Nikon, it's with the store, so Nikon really doesn't have a say in what happens.

Added (2). Hmm, you're right. I'd probably have a new favorite camera in ten years.

NO! I had a warranty for my ipod and i accidentally droped it. I called the apple company and they said they arent giving me a new 1! They said that since it was my fault it broke that they won't replace it. The same will happen for you so don't brake it.

In theory that sounds like a good idea however are you going to tell me that you will keep that for a whole 10 years? I would bet my life savings you don't. Main reason being is that nikon will be old technology in 18 months. So 10 years seems a little unrealistic.
