I wonder if this is common?

I've Nikon D5100

When I switch to live view. If I keep my ears near my camera I experienced some kind of sound, very low sound. If you switch TV then there'll be some slight sound know like that.

I feel that sound from my camera only when place is clam! Of if my ears go near camera. (Only during live view mode, I mean when lcd is showing live view)

Is my camera normal?

is this sound is due to lcd? Like all tv do.

Why is the video on my Nikon d3100 noisy?

Why does the video that I take on my Nikon d3100 have a lot of noise. I've played with all of the settings and haven't had any luck. I'm recording in full HD, 1080p at 24fps. The video clips that I see online of videos shot with this camera don't have any noise and look great, what's going on?

Here is a sample video that I took, I realize that it is a little dark but it's just as noisy in bright conditions. Make sure to watch it in HD and full screen to clearly see the noise.

Is this a sign of an outdated video card?

I recently got a Nikon D5100 for my graduation present, and I shot a few full HD videos (@30fps), and when I uploaded them to my computer (Hp Pavilion a6707c), it cuts out about 4 fps during playback. In all video-players.

So is it a sign of an outdated video card? This computer is unmodded, unfortunately.

Should I take my pictures in Large format?

I have the Nikon D5000 I'm wondering if I should take the pictures in Large format, I still click on the JPEG function but does it affect the picture quality if I set it to Medium? Is just that when I upload them to my computer there to big something like 4001 x 3200 something like that, will it affect the quality of my pictures if I click on a smaller format?

Why are my pictures dark?

So I developed 8 x 10 pictures and they end up being dark, but my screen is much brighter? Can someone please explain why? Is it because I should calibrate my monitor to match the picture and how do I do that? Do I just lower my brightness level… (nikon d90)

Confused as to which camera I need? And what camera do you use?

I'm thinking of upgrading my camera to a new one. My budget's up to £500 although if it was cheaper I wouldn't complain. I've been looking around at a few different models, but I'm not sure what I should be looking for. While I want a camera with extremely high quality images, I'd also like it to focus well.

Would a DSLR or a digital camera be more suitable?

A couple of examples of what I mean.

Nikon D3100 14.2MP DSLR
Canon SX30 IS

Which camera do you personally use?
(And final question, sorry! Is it difficult to get the hang of changing camera lenses or is it pretty simple?)

About any new DSLR camera release rumors for the end of 2011-2012?

I'm trying to decide if I should go ahead and purchase the Canon 7D or Nikon D7000 or wait and see if Canon will be releasing an update to the 7D. If anyone has any websites that share rumors or any information about upcoming release rumors, please let me know.

Input on Nikon16-85mm vr and NIkon 18-105mm vr?

I currently own Nikon 18-55mm and 55-200mm vr lenses. I rented a few lenses to try out this week, the Nikon 16-85mm vr, Nikon 70-300mm, and Tamron 90mm. I haven't received the tamron, but tested out the 16-85mm against the lenses I already own. Is it me, but I don't see a huge difference between the quality of photos from my lenses and the 16-85mm which is a lot more expensive? I also can't justify the price when it's only goes down to f/3.5 apt. They should have at least made it a f/2.8! I also noticed that it takes the 70-300 a bit to focus at the long end (300).Is this normal for telephoto? I'm really looking for the best travel lens, along with a macro. I was also looking at the 18-105 vr, since it's a big longer, lighter, and less expensive. Weight, quality of photos, and price (in that order) are my priorities. Any input would help. Thanks!

Added (1). Btw, I have a Nikon D90 camera in case you were wondering.
