Is this a sign of an outdated video card?
I recently got a Nikon D5100 for my graduation present, and I shot a few full HD videos (@30fps), and when I uploaded them to my computer (Hp Pavilion a6707c), it cuts out about 4 fps during playback. In all video-players.
So is it a sign of an outdated video card? This computer is unmodded, unfortunately.
That model has an on-board video - it probably can't play 30fps HD video…
The 250W power supply prevents adding a high end video card, only some low-mid range video cards if you plan to upgrade…
After looking at the specs I'd say that's a fair assessment. You might want to invest in a more powerful video card.
Unfortunately, you might also have to replace the power supply. The current one is probably just enough for the computer as configured from the factory and won't be adequate for a graphics card.
>It's a sign you need a better video card. Make sure you get a better power supply too if you go with a new video card.
