Buying a nikon.suggestions?

I have $600 to buy a new camera, i've been looking at the d60 but i'd like a newer model that's still affordable. Any suggestions?

Either this or Canon T2i will do you good, although you seem to prefer Nikon more. Compare them both and decide.

Nikon d5000 has the sensor and most of the feature of the nikon d90 and it has time lapse feature built in which other entry level nikon don't have
