Best deal for a nikon d90?

Planning on buying a Nikon d90. I'm beginner and I thought d90 is perfect because its not just entry level but also the next level.d7000 is professional i guess but any suggestions? Also, the best deal for a d90 body and a good lens. Not a standard one though, looking for something like 18-105 or is a 55-200 better?

The D7000 is " mid-level ", just like the D90. The D3x is " professional ". As a rookie, the D90 might be over your head. It's also discontinued. I'd look at a D3100.It's cheaper and more suited for a new comer.
