What camera do you suggest?

Nikon d5100 or d3100? I'm a beginner btw

If money isn't a problem, the D5100.

Since I only recommend what I own and therefore know may I steer you toward the Canon line, say
the 600D (t3i) Canon makes excellent cameras just like Nikon.
