Nikon 35mm f/1.8 or 50mm f/1.8?
I'm looking at buying a prime lens for portrait photography specifically for senior pictures. I'm looking at the nikon 35mm f/1.8 and the nikon 50mm f/1.8 they would be used on a nikon d40x. What in your ipinion would be a better lens to purchase they are both around the same price $200 the 35mm is maybe a 10-30 bucks cheaper

Why do my photos have noise still?
I took outdoor photos but when I zoom in to 100% they have noise. Nikon D3000 ISO 200
Another question: If they are printed off at an 8x10 is that to 100% and will there be any noise on the print?

Lighting / Photography / Sunset?
How would you light up your subject without too much brightness on their face with a sunset behind them? The sunset always comes out beautifully however my subject is slightly too dark. I have a Nikon D7000 with the attached flash.

I have a Nikon D3100 and live in a part of Switzerland known for thunderstorms. I love to take pictures of them. The only problem I have is: I don't always get a sharp image since it's dark and can't focus manually. How would you do?

What's the right camera for me?
I really want to get a nikon d3000. But I don't know if its right for me, I'm looking for photo quality. But I'm also only 14, and I'm saving up to get a nice camera. It would be my first nice camera ever. So what's one that is not TOO pricey, but reasonable and easy to use?

Close up lens kit for Nikon D3000?
I'm new to photography and am planning on getting a close up/macro lens kit for my D3000. I checked on a couple of sites and saw that there are 52mm, 62mm and 72 mm lens kits available. I want to know if all of these are compatible with the D3000's 18-55mm kit lens? And is it ok to go for a unbranded lens kit rather than a high end (Canon etc) len kit?

Where should I sell my used d5000?
I'm looking to sell my nikon d5000 and one of my lenses. Any ideas where I could get a good amount for it?

I was at walmart and ready to purchase a nikon d3000 but the camera assistant said that there was a recall on the camera but when i had talked to another walmart earlier, they had said that i could still purchase the camera. Is there a true recall on this camera? If so, what for?

I can't see through my lensfinder, and if its set on auto focus, it won't take a picture. I took off my lens, and noticed that the mirror is stuck up. And whenever i take a photo, it gets back up. Please help me! This is my only camera, and i would be so so sad without it.
