Close up lens kit for Nikon D3000?
I'm new to photography and am planning on getting a close up/macro lens kit for my D3000. I checked on a couple of sites and saw that there are 52mm, 62mm and 72 mm lens kits available. I want to know if all of these are compatible with the D3000's 18-55mm kit lens? And is it ok to go for a unbranded lens kit rather than a high end (Canon etc) len kit?
It should have been quite clear that your 18-55 mm lens has a 52 mm filter thread. It is listed on the lens.
You do know that diopters are a compromise to using an actual macro lens or at the minimum using AF extension tubes. Diopters are flawed by soft edges and colour aberrations as well
- With the D7000 kit lens how close can you get to a object to photograph it?
