I'm in high school and love photography. I have a Nikon D60 and just have the lens that came with it. I'm trying to decide between a zoom lens and a better portrait lens. I love taking my friends out and doing fun photoshoots but I want a better lens with better bokeh and more professional looking photos. My budget is about $500 (it will be a christmas gift) but I want a lens that will make my photos more professional looking. (I specifically love head shots that are really really in focus) see 
Why are my pictures coming out small when I upload them?
Everytime I try to upload my pics to facebook or to my email well basically to almost anything it comes out small like an icon. And when I try to expand it it comes out all pixel like. Can anyone please help me out?
What lens should invest in next for my Nikon D90?
I got the Nikon D90 a few months ago and have been enjoying learning how to use it and getting more and more into photography. I started with just the kit lens (I believe it came with a 18-105mm), but quickly moved on from that. I bought the Nikkor 50mm/f1.4 and have really enjoyed using it. Well, now I'm ready to expand my photography skills and add another lens. Something with a wider angle. As it is only my 2nd purchases lens, I want something practical and another essential lens to own for a photographer. I used a friends Nikkor Fisheye 16mm/f2.8 and really enjoyed using it and took some awesome pictures… But it really isn't practical to purchase as only my 2nd lense. I was looking at the 28mm… Thoughts? And any other suggestions?

I have a d7000 and recently had my sb600 flash die… I need something around $250 and would like to find a good off brand to extend my $$ a bit. I've never shot with anything other than Nikon products, so I don't know what would be a good off brand to use. Any suggestions?
Avid Studio users: Problems uploading an HD 1080p video to youtube?
I've uploaded an HD video to youtbe but everytime i upload it the audio gets stuck and then gets out of synch. The video is 1080p with an aspect ratio of 16:9, 8000 kbit/s and plays 25 fps. The Audio is Mp4 format, 48 Khz, and the bitrate is 128kpbs. I use Avid Studio and use a nikon D3100. I've uploaded videos in the past and have never encountered this problem. I got the nikon D3100 and avid studio at the same time so i can't say what has caused the problem. I've tried exporting the file in Mpeg-4 format and then that didn't work and then i tried uploading the video straight from the program to youtube and it keeps saying that the upload was failed.

May i ask for any advice. I'm planning to buy a 50mm 1.8g lens for my nikon d7000 and i also want to purchase a filter.

I'm looking for a canon camera that is as good as nikon's d3000. I do lots of work with slow shutter speeds and i want to be able to hold my shutter open for as long as possible. Bulb mode would be nice.
