Avid Studio users: Problems uploading an HD 1080p video to youtube?
I've uploaded an HD video to youtbe but everytime i upload it the audio gets stuck and then gets out of synch. The video is 1080p with an aspect ratio of 16:9, 8000 kbit/s and plays 25 fps. The Audio is Mp4 format, 48 Khz, and the bitrate is 128kpbs. I use Avid Studio and use a nikon D3100. I've uploaded videos in the past and have never encountered this problem. I got the nikon D3100 and avid studio at the same time so i can't say what has caused the problem. I've tried exporting the file in Mpeg-4 format and then that didn't work and then i tried uploading the video straight from the program to youtube and it keeps saying that the upload was failed.
According to your description, I think it's your video codec problem, just because youtube only supports few special profile and format/codec videos, if your video codec is incompatible with youtube, you will meet those problems, if you want to upload your 1080p video to youtube and play well, I think you can follow me to use Youtube Movie Maker to help you, it supports all Youtube HD profile(include 720p, 1080p, etc.), it can auto convert any wrong format/codec HD videos to right profile HD youtube videos, then upload onto Youtube within HD quality, just run Youtube Movie Maker, press "Upload Video", add your HD 1080p video in the file list, then press "SETTING" button to select a HD 1080p profile, at last press "Convert&Upload" button, the software will convert your HD 1080p video to right profile youtube HD 1080p video then upload onto youtube within 1080p quality. You can download it from makeyoutubevideo.com, hope it can help you too.
