What type of equipment should a starter filmmaker get?
Ok, I'm starting with filmmaking and need some help figuring out if I got the right stuff.
Nikon D90 and a autofocus zoom lens a boom mic, final cut studio 2, cheap tripod. Is this good enough to get me started to further learn more and grow in the field? I'm 13 btw.

What type of lens should I purchase?
I'm shooting a wedding in June of next year, I'm new to photography. I own a Nikon d3000 DSLR camera. I plan to do lots of reading on wedding photography and get advice from others but my concern at the moment is the type of lens. I'm not sure what lenses would be good for wedding photography. I have the 18-55 that came with the camera. I was wondering if I should consider a wide angle lens or a really good zoom lens and also is there a lens that offers both a good zoom and wide angle? Help? Thanks so much.
Added (1). Not as though I need to explain myself to you but its my sisters wedding. She isn't looking for a professional, as she already has one. I'm just there to catch things she may have other wise not gotten photos of, as photographers are not cheap. Anyway, for future answers… Unless you have something useful or helpful to say, navigate else where. I can do with out the negativity.

Are Nikon lenses interchangable?
I have a Nikon D3000 and want to get a Nikon D3100. The D3000 came in a kit that came with the standard 15-55mm and a 55-200mm zoom. Will I be able to use these lenses on the body of a D3100, and will they function normally?

I'm set on the Nikon D7000 for many reasons. But this is what I plan to buy:
Nikon D7000 (Body Only)
AF-S NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Zoom Lens
AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G DX Lens
On BHphotoandvideo.com they had a "Buy together and Save" button where I could buy the D7000 (Body Only) and the 55-300mm and save $150 on the 55-300mm lens, but it seems JUST when I plan to buy it they REMOVED it.
Is there any other sites that offer discounts when you buy a Nikon D7000 (Body Only) + 1 other lens like bhphotovideo.com?
Also, do you think this is a good start to photography? I don't want to buy the 18-105 kit lens and just the D7000 body only since I feel I won't be using it that much. What are your opinions on this?
Added (1). Yeah, I was basically 10 hours too late to order.
I plan to shoot weddings, parties, events, wildlife. I'm not a big fan of landscapes, so I won't need a wide angle lens YET.
Added (2). For the "Buy together & save" deal, they have it for every nikon DSLR body only, just the d7000 is temporarily unavailable. Oh well, I guess i'll just call BH photo tomorrow.

In wat ways is nikon D90 superior to the nikon D5100?
I want to buy a professional or a semi-professional camera. So i came across nikon D90 mainly bcoz of its value for money and also many ppl told me about this cam as a very good semi-professional cam at a slightly low price. The D5100 is obviously an inferior cam to the D90 and also it costs less, but when i compared both the cams the differences were not very highlighting. So i want to know in wat ways is the D90 superior to the D5100

What is the chapest way to buy a DSLR camera in America?
I want to buy a Nikon or Canon DSLR camera. Apart from the camera I would like to buy some starter equipment like a bag, some filters, a tripod and maybe some extra lenses. Since this isn't a small investment I would like to consider all possibilities and find a cheapest way to acquire this. Thank you in advance for all your help.
Added (1). I'm aiming for a entry level camera or upper entry level.
Added (2). Thank you for the answer Dr. Iblis but I was aiming more toward maybe finding a way to buy all together, maybe get a discount for buying more products at once, are the prices in all the stores the same, should I consider ebay, what would be advantages and disadvantages of that… Things like that.
Added (3). B.E.I_Thanx! Your answer has been very helpful, I will keep the thins you've said in mind.
Eric Len_At moment I'm leaning toward NIKON D5100. I'm mostly interested in buying a prime lens, 50mm 1.4f or 1.8f, not that interested in zoom lenses right now, thought of buying a better kit lens, 18-135mm maybe, not sure yet. I'm still saving money for it, but I guess I wouldn't be willing to spend more than 1, 500 dollars for everything.

Can Nikon d3000 send Pictures to PC while shooting?
I've been looking online for a while now, and I can't seem to find the information exact to what I'm looking for.
I was wondering if there was a way that while I was taking photographs (say of a child's portrait) that the parents can be in another room (or back of the room) looking at a computer monitor with a "live" showing of the pictures I'm taking of their child as they're happening.
Sort of a tether for lack of better terms.
BUT, I don't want a tether in the form of a "camera control"
I don't wish to control the camera remotely from a computer, just have it sending the pictures for review as I take them?

Does the Canon 7D have a built in motor to focus lenses like the Nikon D90?
I'm thinking about swapping systems, but if the 7D doesn't have a motor, its a deal breaker.

What DSLR would be good for a beginner?
So I've recently decided/can now eventually afford to buy my first DSLR. I'm interested in landscape photography and I was just wondering if there was a particular camera that would suit my needs without being ridiculously expensive. I've had a look around the internet, camera mags etc. And I'm sort of torn between Nikon d3100 and Pentax k-r. However, if there are any other cameras anyone would recommend I'd love to know… Thanks!

What fisheye lens/adapter fits on a Nikon D70 dslr?
I want one that is reletively cheap, because i have seen some that range from $30-$150. I bought one and found it does not click into place in my Nikon. Mine has the 2 white dots that show where to connect to, and there are few camera shops to refer to.
